I am going to stop using titles.

I am tired of trying to think up humorous titles for these posts. And as there is no one out there who reads this Blog, not even my partner, there is no point in me putting up titles for Blog posts.

Yes, I've cracked the shits. And it's you who has made me do it.

I was reading about those poor kiddies who were killed in Mildura. I've driven that stretch of road lots of times, and it can't be a pleasant experience to go through something like that. Poor bastards. The bloke, allegedly, was off his chops on the grog and was driving with his kid on his lap. Fuck, God save us all.

It was my nephew's birthday party on Saturday. Unky G, had a bit too much birthday cheer, but you get that.

We caught up with Jay and Garry a couple of weeks back. That was fucking good fun. We were meant to meet up on Saturday night, but my partner had a headache, so that put the kibosh on that. We will have to do so again.

Later.

Long Weekend

We have long weekends. I love them. We get Monday off, as many moons ago some masons walked off the Melbourne Uni work site demanding an eight hour day. Not many people here work an eight hour day, but it's still something worth celebrating.

We are going to a couple of friends place on Saturday night for a BBQ. I have secured a bit of meat for the function. And I mean a bit of meat. Thankfully, Jay is a chef, so he can do the cooking. I might nick some of the dodgy aprons we have here for the event too.

Not much else going on. Work, work, and more work.

Although I did find this site, which has cheered me up a bit on a Friday afternoon. Not that I'm sort of cat lover, but I think it is funny, especially the captions. There are some sick units out there to take snaps of cats.

My Nephew Rex, Action Nephew, celebrated his first year on earth on Monday. Good on you Rex. We got him some toys, which he already had, and some clothes. My sister went and changed the toy for some clothes, and that's cool. No point in being naked.

She is throwing a bit of a partay for him next weekend. I have requested fairy bread, and I better get some, or else.

Will be good fun. Best go, as it is almost knock off time here. Enjoy your long weekend if you get one.

Things I like

Some time ago, I did one of those emailed surveys, you know the ones. They ask you what you like. I think I may have even put it up here on this blog. Although, going by how often I update this, it would be a while back.

Our computer system here has shat itself, but as I have a wireless card, I am still connected to the world, man.

So I thought I would write a short list of the things I like. It may well turn into a long list, as I like a lot of stuff. This is in no particular order, and does not include partner, friends etc, as it is assumed (correctly) I like them.
