Been a while

Shit, has been. What's been going on?

Lots.

Partner is pregnant with twins, most people know this. And we even have names worked out. They are going to get first names that are similar in one way, the two middle names. Just like me and Charlotte.

She's growing up too. Nearly three, and a real talker. Plus she's got her Mum's feet.

I'm selling the pram as it's no good to us any more. There's a twin stroller in the garage now waiting to be put together. Ugh...

Have to move my desk and office too from a bedroom to a landing. This has meant a re-evaluation of my computer stock. Work gives me a computer, which I think I'll keep in a bag when I'm at home as it's pretty crap. I'm going to buy me a Mac Mini. Got a screen and keyboard/mouse, so don't need them, but if I become a fanboi, I might upgrade later on. Going to get a NAS drive as well. Too many ext HDD and need to get things in one place.

Saw this great desk, but it's pricey and not big enough, so the Ikea one I've had for a while will do. Tomorrow the jigsaw comes out to lop off 200 mill from what is now the front (soon to be the back) and the move will begin. Bit of work to do on this office move. And I suspect I'll be working out of the RACV Club and the garage a bit more often once the twins come along.

Looking at a Sonos system as well. But this will be a gradual thing. Gotta get permission first. The OXX can stream music so this will do for a while.

Anyways, I've jsut downloaded Caitlin Rose's CD Own Side Now. Most impressive, her EP, Dead Flowers, was great and this is a bit less bluegrass, but still excellent.
