Lazy

My Internet connection is a bit dodgy. Oh well.

I have started my new job. It's good. Will be busy, so that's good. On the whole, most people seem OK. As with all places, there are always a few twunts.

I have also put in an order for a new car, as I left the last one with the last job. So I am committed at my new place for three years at least. Look out them!

Anyways, it seems OK, time will tell.

I have been buying some CDs. I got them from here. It is way cheaper than buying them here in OZ, especially since the Aus dollar is up about 90 cents.

So I went opn a bit of a spending spree. As normal, Mojo Magazine was my guide. No CDs I buy are less than three or four stars.

Here they are:
Brad Paisley '5th Gear' - good country rock
Interpol 'Our Love to Admire' - good CD, enjoying it
Dave Olney 'One Tough Town' - alt country good stuff
Aqualung 'Memory Man' - good stuff pommy alternative
Pinback 'Autumn of the Seraphs' - sounds pompous but it isn't
Ongiara 'Great Lake Swimmers' - excellent Canadian rock, you don't hear that often
The New Pornographers 'Challenger' - will have to get some more of this
Foo Fighters 'Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace' - more together than their other CDs, apparently
Rilo Kiley 'Under the Blacklight' - a fantastic CD, didn't think it would be as good as it is
Gravenhurst 'The Western Lands' - nice

All good stuff. Bored of this, more later.
